Making Tennis Educational and Fun!
Richard has been in the forefront of teaching in NJ for 28 years.
He has coached hundreds of juniors from beginner to nationally ranked. He was the Head coach for the USTA/CAC for many years training the areas best juniors.
As a junior, he was ranked both sectionally and nationally. He was All-State for Livingston high school and a state champion. After college, Richard was coached by Nick Bollettieri and competed on the ATP men’s tour with wins over world ranked players.
He was Director of Racquet Sports at Spring Brook CC in Morristown as well as owner of Schick Tennis Programs and Tournament Tennis Training, TTT,LLC.
Many of his students have gone onto playing collegiate tennis at top colleges such as Stanford, Harvard, Tulane, Wake Forest to name a few.
He enjoys teaching students of all ages and levels.
U.S.T.A. High Performance coach, U.S.P.T.R certified, U.S.T.A safe play certified and CPR certified.
Currently directing programs at the Hilton at Short Hills and Tiger Tennis.
Married to Peggy, with sons Tyler and Bryan.
Peggy has been involved in many aspects of tennis for over 25 years. As a ranked junior in the Mid Atlantic Tennis Association, she went on the play Division 1 tennis at Seton Hall University on a full Scholarship.
She has worked as the assistant professional at Montclair Golf Club then moved on to the Director of Racquets Sports at the Racquets Club of Short Hills. As a Co-Director of Tournament Tough Tennis, she coordinates programs for both adults and juniors.
Peggy has also directed the after school programs at Glenwood, Hartshorn and Deerfield schools in Short Hills for many years!
She is certified by the U.S.P.T.A, U.S.T.A Play safe and is CPR certified.
